Who We Are


KESC, the Karmiel English Speakers' Club is a registered non-profit organization . According to our constitution our goals are: 

  1. To serve as a place for entertainment, recreation and counselling for English-speaking immigrants (olim), guests and visitors.

  2. To serve as a centre for volunteer groups for the benefit of the community.


Simple, yet lofty goals that are fun planning, as well as attending and leave you with a sense of pride and satisfaction after every event and activity.

We have no religious or political affiliation or agenda, just a lot of good people trying to make Israel a better place in our own modest way.

Coming Up @ KESC


  • Thank you one and all that attended the Annual General Meeting on January 30th. You can click HERE to read the secretary's minutes from the meeting.

  • February 15th at 11:30 join us for Coffee with Friends.

  • February 10th at 9:00 the Galilee Wayfarers will be going walkabout. Stay tuned for details.

  • February 16th at 20:00 KESC is sponsoring a fundraising concert for the Distress Fund that helps the people that need it the most in Karmiel. The concert will take place at the Karmiel Conservatory and will feature 7 of their top graduating students, each performing two classical pieces. Minimum donation requested is 50 shekels. Please RSVP to

  • February 21st at 7:30 pm we will be reading an abridged version of Pygmalion. Coffee and biscuits will be served and now is the time to contact Brian Fink if you are interested in reading a part,

  • The KESC Purim party will be held on March 5th at the MIXT Club. At 7:30 pm we will gather together for another evening of glamor and entertainment. Besides the oznei haman and light refreshments, we will have some wonderful entertainment featuring: you, me and everybody. We will be having a Funny Talent Show, where you can sing a funny song, relate a funny story, tell a funny joke, read a funny poem, or whatever else that will make em laugh. You can sign up to sing a song or two, as well as RSVPing your attendance at  The cost is only 20 shekels for members, 30 shekels for guests.

Membership is open to any English- speaking Oleh. Dues are 120 shekels a year, half being due by the first of the year. By mid-May a notice will go out stating if we have need for the 2nd half of the dues to be paid.
